To blog or not to blog, that is the question.

I have been waffling on the question- to blog or not to blog? Finally I have decided- to blog. Why the hesitation? Mostly it is the time commitment to write, take photos and put my perspective into cyberspace that makes me hesitate. As I embark on the path, I hope to be able to acquaint people with my view of the place where I live and work- Port Townsend, Washington. I moved to the Quimper Peninsula in January 1984, from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’ve been here now almost 30 years, and I am nearly a native. 

I have set up some categories which I will be writing on. Right now most of these are empty. You can see that I have some goalposts ahead.

I also will be writing about real estate. This is a big topic. I'm not sure about how to organize this, as it is a very big topic. I will certainly take photos of interesting homes, kitchens, features, ideas, landscapes, vistas, and so on. I might invite guest bloggers to write about their areas of expertise, like diffferent loan programs, common inspection problems, appraisals, economics, building trades, interior design, title and escrow. I love the role of history within real estate, or the story of a home or place. Communities have life, and I hope to capture some of the people in my community, perhaps via video.
